y’know, there seems to be a new star trek series every 10 years or so. it’s like america remembers that we need star trek and launches a new series. that we need starfleet back and telling us that the universe is so wonderful and worth exploring. that people are amazing and worth getting to know. that differences are amazing and worth celebrating. star trek’s become part of culture now, not just american, and that’s…well that’s pretty awesome that such a bright eyed and hopeful view of the future and what’s out there has become something so celebrated and beloved that it really seems it won’t ever die out. and i, for one, really hope it never does.
